As a Not-For-Profit, accessibility is our top priority.

Throughout 2022/23, we undertook an extensive period of research and community consultation, surveying Australian educators across English, Drama, Dance, Arts, and Music departments. A total of 1310 schools were contacted, and the results were overwhelmingly positive regarding the surveyed educators’ interest in accessing digital live performance.

What was also identified was that a barrier for many schools operating regionally/rurally and/or in low socio economic status (low SES) postcodes, is price-point.

In response, we are pleased to offer a subsidized subscription for low SES and/or regional/rural schools.

Please note that our platform will operate largely on an honesty system. We ask that metro/urban schools that have the resources to do so respect this by purchasing the full-priced subscription. If our education community can work together, we will be able to make this subsidized option viable for ATL, and ensure that the involved artists & presenting companies are appropriately compensated.

ATL staff will closely monitor institutions that choose our subsidized subscription option. If upon research this option is not deemed suitable for your institution, we will be in contact via the email used to create the account. If no response providing adequate reasoning is received, the account will be terminated.
